A&I Maintenance is a small business run by Ivo Chenevix Trench. The business is set in central London EC1. We specialise in providing carpentry services and other handyman jobs, improving homes and offices. Please have a look at some photos of our work.

A&I Maintenance is aiming to provide an eco-services for local customers who are either private individuals or companies, which means we don’t get to our customers by smelly vans, we use public transport, bicycles or our feet. For this reason we cover only areas/postcodes local to us. Please see which areas we cover.

In the future we’re hoping to expand the covered area by using electric/solar powered cars/vans.

• About Ivo: Studied cabinet-making and furniture design. Then spent some years teaching English in Paris and London. Now he’s an established self-employed specialist carpenter/handyman. His favourite wood is oak.
• From Ivo: We do all the kinds of jobs which you think perhaps you should be able to do, but which for reasons of time, lack of tools or confidence – you don’t undertake… The doors or windows that don’t open or close or lock properly any more or which are falling apart after age or weather… that torturing drip or squeak or bang, which needs a small adjustment to improve… the bathroom which just doesn’t have quite the sparkle any more that a new pair of taps or a renovation to the tile grouting would provide… and those leaks, staining paint and paper, so easily remedied by A & I Maintenance with some silicone mastic seal, giving you beauty…and peace of mind, so don’t hesitate and contact us.
